Round Rock waste provider, Central Texas Refuse, acquired by Republic Services

The City of Round Rock’s waste service provider, Central Texas Refuse, announced this month that it has been acquired by Republic Services.  The most noticeable result of the acquisition will be new branding on the company’s carts and trucks in the coming months. The familiar Central Texas Refuse trucks and trash and recycling cans will gradually be updated with Republic Services’ iconic blue color. New or replacement waste carts will have blue bodies, with different lids to indicate trash or recycling.

Circularix and Republic Services Collaborate to Advance Circular Economy with Recycled PET Supply Agreement
