Four-year-old Jameson loves our trucks and waves to our drivers every week. Thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and our amazing team, Jameson’s dream came true with an up-close look at a Republic Services truck.
“Watching little Jameson see our truck roll up was pretty darn cool. There were friends and family and even some superheroes, and they were all excited to see our truck. We presented Jameson with a ‘uniform’ and some trucks. All there was left to do was put Jameson in the truck,” said Steve O., Manager Community Relations.
The event was pulled together quickly after Steve received a request from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Working with Cheyenne Transfer Station General Manager Calvin F. and Residential Operations Manager Jeff L, we were able to help make Jameson’s wish come true. Thank you to Supervisor Henry W. and Driver Jose P. for being a part of this special day.
“I think it’s safe to say we made quite a lasting impression and memory for Jameson and his family. Huge shout out to our team for supporting this. This was indeed one of life’s moments where we had the opportunity to impact the life of some folks, and we showed up.” — Steve O.
