Introducing Republic’s Parental Leave Benefit

We are pleased to offer many ways to reward and recognize you for your efforts and service to our Company.

Starting April 1, we are offering a brand new benefit to help expecting parents at Republic Services at no cost to you or your family. Under the new Parental Leave policy, eligible employees will receive up to eight weeks of paid leave for primary caregivers and up to two weeks of paid leave for secondary caregivers, for births or adoptions on or after April 1, 2020.

Having a new child can be one of the most exciting moments in your family’s life. We’ve heard your feedback in our Republic Listens employee engagement survey about the need for greater support for work-life balance. We hope that this new benefit takes work off your plate so that you can focus on caring for yourself and your new family during this transition.
