On Saturday, April 27, our team in Huntington Beach, CA, spent the morning volunteering at the Oak View Family Resource Center joining the community in celebrating Day of the Child or Dia de Niño. Volunteers served a meal courtesy of Bracken’s Kitchen (a National Neighborhood Promise grant recipient in 2022) and even had a few of our trucks at the event for children to sit in and learn about how they operate. The event raises awareness about child abuse by recognizing the Blue Ribbon, symbolizing the 3.2 million abused children reported to Child Protective Services each year. “What an honor to be part of this great community event!” said Dan C.
