Last month, drivers Edgar H. and Cristian F. were on route when they came across a man pinned underneath his vehicle. Acting quickly, Edgar, Cristian and a neighbor used their strength to lift the car and pull the man out safely. The man had been changing a tire with his car on a jack when he slipped under it to grab a fallen lug nut and the entire thing fell.
In an interview with CBS 8 News, Cristian said he was just doing the right thing. “I was just doing what a human should do for another human being,” he explained.
“This act of bravery and selflessness speaks volumes of our employees’ care and love for the community! These two deserve our appreciation for being role models and representing what we as a Company stand for,” said General Manager Calvin F.
