We’re excited to announce that once again, Republic Services is certified as a Great Place to Work®. This is a huge honor and it’s all because of your candid and honest feedback.
Great Place to Work is the only award recognition based entirely on what employees report about their workplace experience – specifically, how consistently they experience a high-trust workplace. Being a Great Place to Work is much more than displaying a badge, it signals that each of you endorses our culture and leadership. It tells potential candidates that employees feel supported and would recommend their workplace to others.
To become certified, 5,000 employees were randomly selected to participate in the survey about their experience at Republic Services. 87% of those who participated reported that when you join Republic Services, you’re made to feel welcome. Additionally, companies must submit an annual culture survey to Great Place to Work. Using employee feedback and the submission, our score this year was 80% meaning that 8 out of 10 employees have a consistently positive experience at Republic.
We strive to be a workplace where the best employees come to work and where the employee experience is the priority, knowing that when we are at our best, we are best able to serve our customers.
