Driver Ben M. and Helper Jose C. were recently recognized by the Mayor of Huntington Beach for going the extra mile to help a local resident in need. Ben and Jose were on a residential route to pick up bulky items when they witnessed the mayor’s husband fall in the front yard. They safely stopped the truck and ran over to assist, helping him up and getting him inside the house.
“Ben and Jose immediately assisted this community member in need because, in their minds, ‘helping is what you do’. Their commitment to serve and their genuine hearts are what make them so special,” said Dan C., General Manager.
Ben and Jose are examples of employees who serve as heroes every day in the communities we serve. Way to go!
