We are fortunate to work for a Company that cares about the environment and is a leader in changing the way America recycles. We can all make a difference in our communities by helping others become better recyclers.
Giovanna C., Municipal Market Coordinator, in San Diego, CA, is doing her part in driving change. Through her innovative “Recycling 101” Girl Scout Patch Program, Giovanna is encouraging young people to be interested in the environment and learn more about recycling.
If you are unfamiliar with the Girl Scout Patch Program, it encourages troops to learn more about what they are passionate about – and earn patches along the way. Recycling seemed like a natural fit for the program – and thanks to Giovanna, she made it happen.
San Diego troops (Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes) can work towards earning a Recycling 101 patch by completing a set of activities.
We applaud Giovanna for being a leader in teaching the next generation to become better recyclers!
