Do you know someone who wants to be a technician at Republic Services but needs training? If so, check out the Republic Services Technical Institute’s Apprenticeship program. The program is a two-year, certified Department of Labor Apprenticeship for candidates with or without diesel technician experience or training to become a Heavy Equipment Preventive Maintenance Technician, Marine Technician, or Hauling Division Diesel Technician.
The apprenticeship is a 4,000-hour program, with the first 360 hours of instructor-led training in Dallas, TX, and the remaining hours as on-the-job training.
Additionally, the program is VA-certified, allowing eligible veterans to potentially qualify for Basic Housing Allowance.
