The countdown is on for Republic Services’ 2025 ROAD-EO National Championship, scheduled to take place next February in Phoenix, Arizona!

ROAD-EO National Championship Finalists receive an expense-paid trip for two to Phoenix, pay for their time away, luxury accommodations, hosted dinners and activities, a day competing at the ROAD-EO, an awards celebration and after-party, gifts from Republic Services and sponsors – and so much more! Additionally, first, second and third-place winners of the ROAD-EO National Championship receive big cash prizes and paid time off (PTO). It’s an amazing event and an experience of a lifetime! We hope to see you in Phoenix for Republic’s biggest and best event of the year! Here’s a closer look at what to expect at the 2025 ROAD-EO National Championship:

Day One – You and Your Guest Arrive in Phoenix, Arizona

You’ll be staying at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino, featuring a resort-style pool and jacuzzi, a selection of fine dining, and a Vegas-style casino. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by Republic Services staff and guided through a welcome experience with gifts and complimentary snacks. This evening, you are invited to a welcome reception hosted by Republic leaders. Preview your accommodations here.

Day Two – Practice Day at the Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park

Enjoy a half-day of practice to familiarize yourself with the course and equipment. The evening is free for you and your guest to enjoy the resort and nearby area. You are encouraged to use the Wild Horse Pass Hotel gift card provided at registration to enjoy dinner at your leisure at one of the several hotel restaurants.

Day Three – All-Day ROAD-EO National Championship

This is a huge event, with hundreds of people in attendance, including General Managers, Republic Services leadership, a wide variety of sponsors, and volunteers. In addition to the competitions taking place all day, you’ll enjoy giveaways, prize drawings, food and beverages, and so much more!

Day Three (Evening) – ROAD-EO Dinner and Awards Ceremony

It’s hard to put into words the excitement of this night – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The announcement of the winners is like the Superbowl, World Series and Indy 500 all rolled into one! As a reminder, these are the prizes for our first, second and third place winners:

1st place – Cash: $5,000; PTO: 5 days
2nd place – Cash: $2,500; PTO: 3 days
3rd place – Cash: $1,000; PTO: 1 day

Day Four – Farewell Breakfast for Finalists and Guests

Busses depart from the hotel to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Have a safe trip home!

If you haven’t already signed up to compete in your BU ROAD-EO, talk to your Supervisor for details. Remember, the only way to make it to the 2025 ROAD-EO National Championship is to compete at the local level at your BU ROAD-EO.
