A big shout out to our Fort Collins, CO team for helping provide over 16,000 meals to Larimer County residents this holiday season. Republic sponsored this year’s Colorado State University Rams Against Hunger Food Drive, benefiting the Food Bank of Larimer County and CSU Student Food Pantry, all during the Border War Football Game against the Wyoming Cowboys.
Republic’s booth and truck were positioned front and center along the “Ram Walk” and fully staffed with over 20 team members from the local BU and corporate office (and their families). Everyone from the CSU football players and marching band to the fans could not miss our truck as they walked by on their way to the main entrance of Canvas Stadium.
As we round out this season of football and giving, Republic Service will have donated over $8,700. In addition, 1,230 pounds of food was collected game day, thanks to our staff and Rams fans, and 16,000+ meals will be served in Larimer County because of the total contributions.
