While heading back to the landfill after picking up parts, Operations Supervisor Felix G. spotted an elderly couple having a hard time trying to change a flat tire on the side of a busy highway. With safety top of mind, Felix noticed no safety vests, high visibility markers or emergency hazard lights on, and most importantly, in this South Texas heat, no signs of water. Felix didn’t think twice and turned around to help. Within minutes Felix was able to mount their spare and send them on their way to the nearest tire shop.
