Technology is changing quickly, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now part of everyday life. Because of that, it can be harder to tell what is real and what is fake. This creates new cybersecurity risks for employees and the Company.
What are some examples of Cybersecurity threats?
- Phishing emails, phone calls, or text messages that try to trick you into sharing information or clicking a bad link
- Using generic or default passwords
- Using public or unsecured Wi-Fi networks without protection
At Republic, we are committed to protecting Company information and systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. Every employee has a role in helping keep our information and systems safe.
How you can help prevent cyber threats:
- If you are unsure whether something is malware, phishing, or another cyber threat, contact the Information Security team before clicking, responding, or sharing information.
- Use only Republic-approved hardware, storage, software, and apps for Company work.
- When working remotely, always use a VPN to help protect Company information.
When you spot and report possible cybersecurity threats, you help protect Republic’s information, systems, and people.
