Last week we launched our AI At Work training. As you learn about the acceptable use of AI at work, you can use this quick guide to help you use AI at work the right way.
GREEN = OK |
• Ask AI to draft or summarize public, non confidential information. |
• Use approved AI tools only. |
• After AI output, you check the facts and the tone. |
YELLOW = ASK FIRST |
• If you are not sure the data is safe to share, stop and ask Cybersecurity or Ethics & Compliance. |
RED = NOT ALLOWED |
• Do not put customer, employee or personal information into AI. |
• Do not use AI to give legal, business or ethics advice. |
• Do not let AI approve or act by itself; there should be a human in the loop. When automating, employees should still provide oversight and supervision. |
• Do not use AI to draft Republic branded, communications, marketing, sales or social media materials on behalf of the Company.
Only authorized employees may create Republic branded communication materials, using approved tools. |
Important notes: |
• There is no privacy in AI tools—use them professionally and in accordance with Company rules. |
• AI is never a substitute for approved forms or required processes. |
