The holiday season was a time of giving back for our employees. Thank you to everyone who spread joy in their communities and supported those in need. We’re proud to spotlight some of these efforts:
Our team in Sacramento participated in two awesome holiday events: a canned food drive competition and delivering Secret Santa gifts to elderly residents – way to go, team!
A big shout out to our team in Tulsa for participating in their local Adopt-A-Family program. The team adopted 12 families and purchased and wrapped over 75 gifts and household goods for the families!
Employees in Bridgeton didn’t let the holidays flash by without lending a hand. The group collected gifts for the Assistance League of St. Louis, which in turn, was able to help multiple families, students in transition, and women’s shelters.
The Las Vegas team along with several local business leaders partnered with Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy to sponsor a toy and bike giveaway. Over 200 families received a free bike to help kids stay active, toys and gift cards for groceries. “We are committed to giving back by supporting and investing in our communities,” said Bryan T., Market Vice President for the Southwest Area.
A lovely family in Henderson channeled their inner Republic Services team for the Green Valley Ranch Halloween event. Their young son, Forrest, dressed as a Republic driver, and his father, Jeff, dressed up like a residential trash container. The father-son costume caught the eye of a local news reporter while at the event. After some research, our local team was able to locate the family and present Forrest with some awesome gifts, just in time for the holidays.
