Employees Get an Inside Look at Salt River Recycling Center

Employees from the Accounting Services Project Team, AR Center, National Accounts, and Accounts Receivable enjoyed a tour of the Salt River Recycling Center as part of their annual Manager Meeting Forum held at Headquarters last month. A big shout out to employees Danny R. and Kris C. for leading the tour.  “This is truly an impressive facility and we definitely appreciate the work they do!” said Kameron W., AR Senior Manager.

The Salt River Recycling Center opened earlier this year in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The 51,000-square-foot facility manages recyclables from approximately 1.4 million residents and more than 2,000 businesses throughout the Valley, and processes up to 40 tons, or eight truckloads, of recyclables per hour, including paper, cardboard, plastic bottles and jugs, metal food and beverage cans, and glass bottles and jars.
