A big thank you to Monica D., Municipal Relationship Manager, and Sarah P., Recycling Coordinator, for hosting a table at the Earth Day Celebration held last week at Senior Coastsiders. Monica and Sarah answered questions about recycling and encouraged attendees to take a turn at the bean bag toss game to test their recycling knowledge. Even Little Wyatt got in on the fun!
The team also took part in a Community Recycling Event on Saturday, April 15, in Half Moon Bay that included a compost giveaway, onsite document shred and e-waste recycling.
“We had approximately 200 cars attend the drive-through event,” said Monica.
