Huntington Beach Residential Driver Sidney S. was driving his route when he saw an elderly woman trip and fall into the street. She tried getting up but fell again. Sidney stopped his truck, exited the cab, and offered his assistance. He offered her water, called her daughter as she requested, and stayed with her until her daughter arrived. A neighbor witnessed everything and reported the kind act to Republic Services. The City of Huntington Beach will be recognizing Sidney for his act of kindness and service to the community.
