Driver Michael P. is always finding meaningful ways to build relationships with his customers. On his route in Massillon, Ohio, he’s made a special connection with two young fans who eagerly wait for his arrival every Monday. One of the kids even has a nickname for their favorite truck, they call it the “Big Blue Dragon.”
Recently, Michael, along with Supervisor Jacob W., surprised the children with a Republic Services toy truck. Michael took the time to show them how the toy works just like the real thing, from operating the arms to activating the strobe lights. The visit was a “surprise of a lifetime,” said the grandfather of one of the children.
