Driver Appreciation from Palm Bay, FL to West Goshen, PA

As we wrap up Waste and Recycling Workers Week, we’ve seen some great acts of kindness towards our frontline employees across the country.

In West Goshen, PA, Joey and his family made big, bright thank you signs for drivers Bill A. and Angel F. On top of that, the family wrote a heartfelt letter expressing how grateful they are for the kindness that Bill has shown to their son Joey over the past year.

“You took notice of Joey during Covid and gave him so much kindness. It started out as a quick smile, wave and beep. As time went on, it involved a handshake, Republic Services shirt, hat, etc. During the pandemic year, your kindness helped Joey. Thank you!”

Way to go, Bill and Angel!

In Palm Bay, FL, five-year-old Archer and his father made a special visit to BU 248 to say thank you to our drivers, with a handmade card and cupcakes in hand! Young Archer wants to be a garbage truck driver when he grows up. He has over 60 trucks of his own and a carpeted route through his house that he runs. He’s also dressed up as a garbage truck driver for the past two years running. Way to go Archer! See you on Halloween!!!
