Halloween can be spooky, but it doesn’t have to be for your recycling goals! There is an estimated $8 billion spent annually on this holiday – woah! With it being just around the corner, here are a few tips and tricks to make sure the environment doesn’t suffer through all the fun.
DO: recycle what you can, re-use what you have, and invest in items that can be used year after year.
DON’T: put candy wrappers into your recycling bins, trash costumes, or recycle face paint and makeup containers.
