Below is an excerpt of a customer letter recognizing Shawn’s “customer-first” approach:

“I’ve been a Republic Services customer for the past 2.5 years. I have had such a wonderful experience with my driver. I travel frequently for work. My trash pickup day is Monday mornings. Being a busy parent and executive, there have been times in which I’ve forgotten to put out my bins. Fear not!! I’ve still NOT missed a single pickup. Our driver is FANTASTIC and demonstrates his dedication to excellence by walking up to my garage and rolling the bin down to load it! We often have trash companies soliciting in our area and each time, I decline to even look at another service because of our driver. This gentleman goes above and beyond and has for the past couple of years. It’s because of this great customer-first approach that I stick with Republic Services. The pricing is great too, but really, it is the service.”
