Congratulations Distracted Driving Awareness Month Prize Winners!

Thanks to our safety-conscientious employees, Republic’s Distracted Driving Awareness Month was a huge success! Over 3,500 employees and family members participated in the campaign by signing the Safe Driver Pledge to avoid distracted driving and save lives!

Additionally, we held a Distracted Driving Awareness Month slogan contest. We asked employees to share an empowering message urging others to make safe choices behind the wheel, and boy, did you deliver. We received over 100 slogan ideas from employees and asked our Director of Safety to choose the top five. Winners will receive a custom travel mug and emergency auto kit. Additionally, their slogan may be used in future Republic Services’ Distracted Driving Awareness Campaigns! Congratulations to the following winners:
