Thank you to everyone who submitted photos for our first 101 Days of Summer Safety campaign! We loved seeing how you and your teams are making safety and environmental health a priority this summer. Your commitment to keeping EHS top of mind helps create a safe workplace for all.
Congratulations to the following winners – a Summer of Safety Prize Pack is on the way!
Brian G., ES Field Ops Lead, Hopewell Junction, NY
Photo description: “I recently serviced my AC unit at my residence which involves taking the cover off and cleaning the coils. Prior to starting this work, I opened the power breaker and took the fuse out to cut power to the system. This allowed me to do the work I needed to without the threat of the system turning on or being electrocuted. This is just one of the many ways I use my safe habits at work and implement them into my daily life.”
Emma C., Ops Support Administrative, Portland, ME
Photo description: “We at Division 6589 in Portland, Maine are keeping EHS and safety top of mind this summer by making sure to stay hydrated, cool down regularly, know the signs of heat illness, and driving safely and cautiously of others on the road. We have stocked up on cooling towels, ice, hydration sticks and popsicles, and are meeting with our teams to discuss keeping EHS and safety at the top of their minds this summer!”
Julie D., Sales Manager, San Diego, CA
Photo description: “The sales team spent time with our North County San Diego drivers to talk about how we can help them to be safe and take care of our customers. Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and it’s our top priority. Let’s continue working together to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Summer Safe!”
Nathalie B., Assistant Health & Safety Manager, ES Blainville, QC

We had a great month ensuring a high level of participation of our teams by providing activities to enhance the knowledge and awareness to our daily risks and how we control them : hand contamination, industrial hygiene instruments and techniques, vehicle’s blind spots, and understanding chemical reactions and risks.”
