Q. How long have you been with Republic?
A. I’ve been with the company since December 1997, going on 23 years.
Q. Can you share a little more on your personal connection or passion for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society?
A. Many years ago, MS entered my life. Anyone that has a connection with MS through yourself or a loved one, knows how scary this can be. The National MS Society provides clarity and support during great uncertainty through education, research, providing support and resources, as well as ways to live your best life with MS.
Q. What is something people may not know about you?
A. I was a very talented flute player years ago. It earned me a full scholarship to the University of Illinois at Chicago. It has been years since I’ve played but I still have my flute and sometimes wonder if playing is like riding a bike. One day, perhaps I’ll find out.
Q. Tell us about some of your hobbies or interests?
A. Outside of work I enjoy anything outside and in nature. Going for walks, riding a bike, hiking or simply enjoying my backyard with my husband.
Q. I am my best self at work and outside work when _______.
A. … I am helping others be their best self. As cliché as it may sound, I am constantly energized by connecting with others, lifting them up and helping them be the best that they can be.
