In Kansas City, KS, our local team partnered with Community Housing of Wyandotte County (CHWC, Inc.) and other community organizations to transform blighted vacant land into a beautiful park, which will serve as the first section of the Douglass Sumner Heritage Trail. Approximately 30 volunteers helped kick off the revitalization project by helping to build a new trail and planting native plants.
