Thanks to Recycling Coordinators John T., Tessa G., and Santina G. for helping out at the annual Compost Giveaway this past Saturday in Lafayette, CA. The event coincided with International Compost Awareness Week.
“Approximately 250 community members picked up compost made from the yard waste and food scraps that we collect in green organics recycling carts every week!” said Kimberly L., Municipal Manager.
