City of Fountain Valley Recognizes Driver Eddie C. as Good Samaritan

Kudos to Driver Eddie C., who was recognized at last week’s Fountain Valley, CA, City Council Meeting for being a Good Samarian and a caring community member.

In an act of kindness, Eddie stopped to assist a resident during a medical emergency. The resident was trying to navigate crossing the street with a scooter and when Eddie observed that she was having difficulty, he stopped to check on her. She told Eddie that she thought she was having a negative reaction to some medication and asked Eddie to call 911, which he did. He remained with her until the paramedics arrived and he was sure she was in good hands.

“I am proud of Eddie for his big heart and grateful that we can partner and serve a community which is so gracious. Thank you, Eddie, for looking out for the community and thank you Fountain Valley City Council and staff for the affirmation you provided last night!,” said Dan C., General Manager.
