Charlotte Teams Support Arts Center Revitalization at NNP Day

Thank you to our volunteers in Concord/Charlotte who came together for their National Neighborhood Promise® (NNP) Day last month alongside Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte to help revitalize the ClearWater Arts Center & Studios. The improvements are supported through a $150,000 NNP grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation. Republic volunteers enhanced green space and visitor experiences around the Arts Center, including adding garden seating, a stage for concerts and events, and a large mural; planting trees and shrubs; and adding covered seating at high-traffic bus stops nearby.

“This collaboration underscores the importance of investing in our neighborhoods to create vibrant, sustainable spaces where residents can thrive. The Republic Services Charitable Foundation has been an incredible partner in our mission, and this project is a testament to the power of working together to build stronger, healthier communities. We are excited to see the positive impact this initiative will bring to ClearWater and the surrounding area.” – Beth Morrison, Executive Director, Rebuilding Together of Greater Charlotte
