The Driver of the Year awards are for drivers who operate their trucks safely and responsibly, have outstanding performance records and whose contributions have enhanced the overall safety and image of the solid waste industry.

NATIONAL COMMERCIAL DRIVER OF THE YEAR
Frank E., Branson, Missouri
Frank’s 30+ years of experience with Republic Services in the Branson, Missouri market is a true testament of his dedication to the customers and communities he serves.
“Throughout Frank’s career, he has demonstrated his excellence to every position he has held in Operations,” said Kurt B., General Manager. “His passion for safety, customer zeal and taking care of his equipment is second to none. In addition to his professional career, his dedication to his family and community involvement elevates all of us around him and we are better for knowing him.”
NATIONAL INDUSTRIAL DRIVER OF THE YEAR
Jason T., Yorktown, Virginia
As a 28-year employee of Republic Services in Yorktown VA, Jason demonstrates his commitment to serve in how he takes care of his customers, community and coworkers every day.
“The ownership and drive Jason displays in taking care of customers across multiple lines of business is unparalleled and makes him a joy to work with,” said Brandon M., General Manager. “He plays a significant role in the day-to-day operation and is often used as a resource for veteran and new employees. His positive attitude, leadership and training skills, and desire for safe operation make him an invaluable member of our team.”

Kevin J., Mt. Vernon, Illinois
Kevin has been a Residential Driver with Republic Services for 14 years. He is dedicated to all he does; he’s extremely passionate about his career, family and our customers by his actions every day.
“Kevin embodies Customer Zeal and the Republic Way in all he does,” said Tom C. Operations Supervisor. “He comes into work every day with a smile on his face, whistling a tune, and a desire to go the extra mile to take care of our customers like it was the first day on the job. NATIONAL RESIDENTIAL DRIVER OF THE YEAR
Richard D., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Richard “Ricker” has been a staple to our Philadelphia division over the last 12 years. He has built strong relationships with his customers and consistently been an example of excellence.
