Today we to kick off Environmental Solutions’ National Truck Driver Appreciation Week! This week is set aside to appreciate our drivers as well as their dedication and outstanding contributions to Republic Services.
As we continue to integrate Environmental Solutions with Republic’s operations, we now have more than 1,500 drivers representing Republic Services in the Environmental Solutions group. Each and every one of them is critical to the success of the Company, often serving as the first point of contact with our customers and driving the exceptional service they expect from us.
Through their work, they demonstrate how we are Safe, Committed to Serve, Environmentally Responsible, Driven and Human-Centered. Whether they are safely transporting hazardous materials through our communities, deploying equipment to respond to an emergency event, or providing other field services, our drivers are highly trained to get the job done safely, while complying with the necessary regulations.
I want to thank our drivers for the time, commitment, and ongoing professionalism they dedicate to Republic Services.
