As part of supporting a diverse and inclusive culture, Republic Services is proud to take part in National Hire a Veteran Day! Established in 2017, this day serves as a call to action for companies to increase their veteran workforce and encourages veterans to apply for jobs.
In August 2022, Republic Services was identified as an approved Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge employer. SkillBridge is a nationwide program that provides transitioning Service members an opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during their last 180 days of service.
