May is Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, a celebration of the contributions, achievements and cultural heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in America. AAPI communities consist of approximately 50 distinct ethnic groups speaking over 100 languages and an expansive geographical footprint.
In honor of AAPI Heritage Month, Republic Services is launching AAPI at Republic, our newest Business Resource Group (BRG) in support of the AAPI community later this month.
AAPI at Republic’s mission is to create an inclusive community to provide professional networking for employees with an intent to grow, recruit, and retain AAPI talent while fostering a deeper understanding of the cultures within the AAPI community.
