Black History Month: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future

February is Black History Month, and we are proud to celebrate the rich heritage, achievements and contributions of the Black community. It’s a time to reflect and deepen our appreciation of the Black community’s achievements, resilience and contributions throughout history. Black History Month is more than a celebration – it is a call to action for growth and understanding.

Throughout the month, the Black Employee Network (BEN) Business Resource Group will be sharing powerful stories about BEN members, spotlighting their personal and professional successes. These stories, which will be shared on the Black Employee Network on the new BRG SharePoint, highlight the strength and resilience of our community, and are sure to inspire us all.

Visit the Black Employee Network SharePoint Page to read more about this important topic throughout the month.

Here are some actions you can take to celebrate the month:

  • Support Black-Owned Businesses: Explore and uplift Black entrepreneurs and creators in our community. You can organize team outings and promote these businesses among your teams, friends or family.
  • Community Outreach: Community service projects that uplift and support local Black communities. Volunteering together reinforces our commitment to service.
