Your safety and wellbeing are our top priority, and we want to take a moment to remind you of a couple of health benefits available to you and your families.
COVID-19 Vaccines are widely available to everyone age 12 and up and are encouraged to help prevent the spread and severity of COVID-19. For more information on how to get a vaccine, you may use the vaccine finder website, visit the CDC website or check with your healthcare provider.
If you haven’t already done so, we strongly encourage you to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Whether or not you choose to get the vaccine, we ask that you continue to wear a mask indoors when possible and follow safety protocols to limit the spread of the virus. Even after you’re fully vaccinated, the CDC recommends you continue to take precautions. Click here to learn more.
A Flu Shot is the best way to protect yourself and those around you from getting sick. It’s safe, effective and it targets the most current viruses. We encourage employees to visit a nearby pharmacy for your annual flu shot. Employees enrolled in any Republic Services benefits plan can get a flu shot at no cost at an in-network pharmacy or convenience care clinic. Be sure to bring your insurance card with you. If you have questions about where to get a flu shot, please ask your HR partner.
Ways to help fight the flu:
• Get a flu shot
• Wash your hands often
• Avoid touching your face
• Sneeze or cough into your elbow
• Stay home if you feel sick
