The Beaumont Business Unit recently came together to make a difference for local students through a month-long school supply and backpack drive benefiting The Salvation Army of Beaumont, TX.
Employees across the BU donated backpacks, notebooks, folders, crayons, markers, pencils, and other classroom essentials to help local children prepare for the upcoming school year. The drive concluded with a delivery of the collected supplies to The Salvation Army, where the items will be distributed to families throughout the community.
“The effort reflects the Beaumont team’s commitment to giving back and supporting the communities where Republic Services employees live and work. Through the generosity of Beaumont BU employees, local students will begin the school year equipped with the supplies needed for a successful start,” said General Manager Bill V.
