Last month, our Atlanta team partnered with Rebuilding Together Atlanta to provide critical home repairs and safety upgrades for three senior homeowners in Smyrna.
As part of a Republic Services community grant, our employees dedicated more than 60 hours of service to complete projects such as painting, landscaping, sheetrock repair, decluttering and installing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The grant will fund additional home repairs for the three senior homeowners, all focused on eliminating five major health and safety hazards. These improvements not only enhance quality of life today, but will also allow the homeowners to live more independently for years to come.
