On June 18, our Anchorage team partnered with Alaska Trails to improve the North Bivy Trail at Far North Bicentennial Park.
Thanks to a $100,000 National Neighborhood Promise grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, the project includes building a new bridge, trail clean-up and making the path safer and more accessible for the East Anchorage community.
Volunteers spent the day clearing brush and moving materials, helping kick off a seven-week effort to upgrade and officially designate the route for public use.
Special thanks to our Anchorage team for making an impact that will be felt for years to come!
