Earlier this month, our Alabama team partnered with Community Action Partnership of North Alabama (CAPNA) to help complete the new Neighborhood Promise Training Center in Decatur.
Made possible by a $160,000 National Neighborhood Promise® grant from the Republic Services Charitable Foundation, the training center will support the Decatur community through hands-on workshops focused on home ownership readiness, financial education and essential home maintenance skills.
Volunteers put finishing touches on the space by creating dedicated learning areas where participants will practice home repairs, including plumbing and routine maintenance tasks.
