Employees currently enrolled in a Republic Services benefits plan can now access their 2024 Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs). SPDs offer detailed information about your benefits plan, including your rights and responsibilities as a participant.
As mandated by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, Republic Services, as a plan administrator, must notify all eligible participants annually when SPDs become available.
The SPDs for the 2024 plan year can be accessed electronically at mybenefits.republicservices.com. Please locate the SPDs by following the steps below.
- Navigate to the Reference Center located at the top of the page
- Select the folder titled Summary Plan Descriptions (SPD)
- Select the folder for the plan type you are looking for (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, or Other)
- Select the 2024 folder
- Select your plan document(s)
We encourage you to review your SPD at your earliest convenience to ensure you fully understand your benefits coverage for the year.
