101 Days of Summer Safety is Over – Let’s Celebrate the Top Divisions!

Over the past few months, we have celebrated 101 Days of Summer Safety, focusing on the unique safety challenges that come with the season. From hydration and sun safety to holiday celebrations, travel and children at play, summer activities require us to stay alert and proactive. As our 101 Days of Summer campaign ends, it’s important to remember that even though Summer might be officially coming to a close, many parts of the country are still facing scorching temperatures. Don’t let your guard down!

As we transition into the next season, it’s important to maintain our focus on safety and ensure that we:

  • Stay Sun Smart as UV rays are still strong, use sunscreen, protective clothing, and stay hydrated during outdoor activities.
  • Travel Wiseley end-of-summer trips are fun! Drive safely, avoid distractions and plan for traffic delays.
  • Heat illness prevention whether at work or play, be mindful of the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and stay alert to changing weather.

Fall brings new goals, fresh energy and plenty of opportunities!  Let’s carry forward the momentum of summer with a renewed commitment to safety, collaboration and well-being.

We couldn’t let the summer end without giving a huge shoutout to the following Divisions, who achieved ZERO safety frequency and TRIR events and made safety a priority every day during 101 Days of Summer Safety!
